United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black
Just reviving this old post. Is anyone going to the show this year?

We are going this year. It will be our first visit. We are travelling down to Dover from Up North and then travelling via Calais to the Netherlands for a couple of days then heading into Germany. From pictures that I have seen and videos on Youtube it looks amazing. My one concern is that the campsite looks very tightly packed. Has anyone got any top tips for the trip?

Barbara and I will be going accompanied by Andy and Vicky, we will be camping in Oztents at the back of the Nakatanenga stand.

From the north we would argue that the overnight Hull Rotterdam ferry makes sense, ok not cheap but saves us a lot of driving.

The main campsites can get crowded, is a temporary campsite so facilities are shall we say rudimentary but it is supposed to have a good atmosphere.. Now if you do not like crowded campsites even with atmosphere you might want to find a campsite away from Bad Kissingen.

Do not be tempted to get round the show in one day as you will fail.! Well you may just about walk by every stand but not have time to inspect what is on offer and talk to the traders. Most stands will have at least one staff member who speaks English.

Now Bad Kissingen is a spa town so you can take the waters if you like, the rose gardens are nice and they do a decent ice cream.

HTH

Barbara and I will be spending time on the Nakatanenga stand if we are not crashed out in the Oztents at the back of the stand or spending time going around the show ourselves.

Please do try and come and find us. Most if not all the Nakatanenga staff have a basic grasp of the English language and many of them are fluent in English.

The two things I really like about the Bad Kissingen show is that it is not just a Land Rover show and there are companies which you do not readily see in the U K.
