Tried again, didn’t want to risk ruining the intercooler by using too much force. Just bought an original hose and popped that one on for now. Same design as the silicon one. Should be safe till I find some time plumb in the high performance intercooler.

Lost some power, split the intercooler. Had the same with my other 130. You got to love genuine Land Rover quality parts!
🤔

Going to try to fit the BAS intercooler today. Would i need tor remove the panel of the aircon as well? 😬

Got it in without removing. Hoses were a pain in the...
Couldn’t find the 90 degree hose I still need to replace, but for now I’m hopefully fine.

Just curious as I have always wanted to do the upgrade you described and am keen to get the best sounding exhaust possible. I know their Td5 exhaust sounds good, never heard a 2.4 with remap. If you are able to get some on your phone, I'd also like to know if yours is a straight through our standard. Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

Hi Grenadier,

Sorry for the late reply, my exhaust is straight through, I will get my other half to record me this weekend will try get the video up on here for you. Mine has a burble while ticking over and when booting it is a pretty throaty noise, only problem is you still have that horrible TDCI sound upfront! 2007 2.4 90 fettled & remapped.
