I did the Trans America Trail on set of Goodyear MT/Rs. Started out with 5000 miles on them. All road miles.
Here's what another 5 weeks and 5000 off road miles did to them.

My travelling companion in a Jeep Wrangler had a set of BFG ATs with 20,000 miles on them when we started. At the end of the trip, his BFGs looked the same as when we started!

Those pictures very similar to how my (OEM) Goodyear Wrangler MT’s look - except I have sofar done 40 000km on them. No rotation - the rears showing more wear than fronts. Good resistance to punctures - but unpleasant drone on bitumen. Can be aired down aggressively. Can probably do another 20 000km. But looking to replace with AT’s - probably Pirelli Scorpion ATR.
