Ludicrous
I have just got back from driving a Tesla S "Ludicrous"
In all of my 70 plus years I have never driven anything that is so fast 0 -60 comes up in about 2.9 seconds and the mid range acceleration is enough to snap your head off. On top of that you can switch to driverless mode, let go of the steering wheel and just sit there..amazing... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Has anyone else tried one ?

The thing is, in another 60 years or so, (government nonsense aside) "Small" will still be on the roads and repairable.

I'm not so sure about today's high tech vehicles Sad .

They reported last week how bad Tesla profits were. Is this purely down to sales? James

Yes the Tesla S is ludicrous. How would you describe the Tesla Roadster, 0 to 60 in 1.9 secs and 250mph top end? Think I'd rather have a prancing horse for £200,000 though. Defender 90XS SW

I think to some extent all the money is being re-invested, I think they have the largest battery plant / development programme in the world. 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

Ssssh S & S!

Have you not heard we have replacement parts for the drive train and the human engine.

The only issue we have is in replacing the human ECU!

I sat in one at the London motor show last Thursday. It looks nice but I feel its going to become dated and old fashioned rather quickly. Then I saw someone had electrified a morris minor. Motor bolted onto the exisiting clutch/gearbox. what a fabulous idea I loved it! 1953 80"

Had a P100D for 96Hr test drive last year ..........

Very Happy

But sadly there's not one in the garage yet. Well I say garage, being a terrace in London there ain't no garage, nor drive and also no charging point, unless I run a cable out the window and over the pavement.
