Outstanding effort yesterday from a great young rider. I'm transfixed. Fingers crossed he maintains or extends the lead over the next few days.

In thirty-plus years of following the Grand Tours, that has to rate as one of the best stages I have ever seen. What a ballsy attack. Oustanding.
Just a shame that if Yates had to give up the Maglia Rosa at all, that he couldn't have done it whilst still performing well and ultimately staying in contention for a podium position. He's had a sterling Giro to date  . Monsieur Le Grenadier

Totally deserved the win. Hope he get’s 7 flat tires tomorrow  a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |

It sounded incredible. Well it read that way as I was following on text updates. Froome was 40 secs clear when I posted.
