[Sold] CargoBear Defender Roof Bars
Have two bars (inc fixings) for sale bought 12 month ago from Brendan, used twice, selling as I'm looking at other options (to fix Thule roof bike carrier)

Will post a couple of photos tomorrow.

Looking for £300 prefer collection as postage I guess would be quite expensive !

Thanks for reading..........

Steve

I thought these took the Thule bars, would ask Brendan before you sell them
Had a pair and I thought they were great in terms of profile and quality

Bike carriers can be easyli fitted on CargBear bars using these sliders in the "bone shaped" holes:

Simple answer is that I do not know if the Thule system will work with the Cargo Bear rack.

Have asked the question and will let people know if I can get an answer.

It looks like the Thule bike carrier works on fitting to a T bar system. If that is the case it may well work.

Whilst typing this I have got a reply from Germany!

Quote:

oh yes, it will fit. It might be necessary to drill a hole or two.

Normally the carrier is bolted to the "bone shaped" holes using these
sliders:

Hope this information proves useful to someone.

Happy to sell as I've tried those fixings before and the carrier I want it's easier for me to look at other bar options as I have also a Oztent basket that has caused me issues in the past when fixing.

Agree Simon they are a quality piece of kit and profile once fitted is the best I've seen, they are great just not suitable for me now........ Shame really but that's life !

Sorry it's taken a while to respond I'm overseas with work, back in UK Sun so I'm selling to Simon E and will call you early next week if that's ok ??
