1993 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Barolo Black
Active Sub Wiring
I’m doing my best to install a Phoenix Gold active sub into my defender but have come a little unstuck due to the lack of a remote switch on terminal on the back of my head unit.

First question is where can I get a feed for this and second question is do I actually need it? The sub isn’t turning on without one so I would say it does but if anyone knows any different let me know.

The model of the sub is the Phoenix Gold Z8150

Thanks, Matt

An ignition live will do too, only your amp will be on all the time that the ignition is unless you have a manual switch. I’d try as above first.
Also some Amp’s have selectable turn on features / auto detect. See if that is a feature also Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
