I was talking about the vent pins.

Will hopefully be getting a new intercooler and pipes next year. But can't allocate the funds for that just yet.

Let there be Light! Sort of!

Next Project...

New bumper, spots, LED Headlights and Wipac LED's all round... Unfortunately due to maintenance on other cars there wasn't enough sterling to go around! So we are half way there with the Wipac LED's! The front end to be done next month!

A set on Ebay offering the full overhaul for marginally cheaper than buying them all individually. Giving it a nice fresh look on the rear (and half for the front!)

MORE LIGHTS!

Time to say goodbye to the old rusty britpart headlights!
And hello to the new LED Trucklites!

Also replaced the old rusty bezels with new 'black' stainless to give it a nice fresh look!

Wiring nice and easy, only additional bit was wiring the headlight sidelights in with the current.

Bye bye!

Now to sort that bumper and those spots out!... and reblacken the facing.

.... they are bright!

Thanks to SWR for the 2nd pair of hands for fitting! Very Happy Chris

A few wee jobs over the weekend while waiting for the new spots to arrive!

New Stainless Steel screws for the wing covers!

Also swapped the old rusty bulk head bolts for nice new Stainless one!
2 of which required plenty of persuasion to get out! Censored
Anyone have any recommends for removing the rust spots around the new bolts? Question

Project Light... DONE!
Taking a bit longer than planned!

BUT! We are lit up! AND THEY ARE AWESOME! Shocked

So, picking up from where we left off, new bumper required, new mount, new spots and respray of the plastic trim.

The old bumper coming off nice and easily (first time for everything!). Relieving some... questionable... wiring from the previous owner. God know how that ever didn't short!

Replacing the old 'box' with an IP rated connector.

Then spending a few hours cleaning, scrubbing, cleaning, scrubbing the old trim before keying and respray.

I would fully recommend Buzzwelds Plastic in One hamper, the kit it nice an simple and... more importantly, comes with stickers!
The shed was soon turned into a spray booth!

the new spots ended up being ebays best 165w 7inch LED's - I did look at the more expensive branded but I would be kicking myself if I get them scratched.

All then connected back together with stainless steel screws and looking awesome!

The photos don't quite give the lights justice but when on full beam everything they are like daylight!

The look... with mud!
