Best way of clearing/ selling all the stuff in my garage
Hi all, for reasons I won't bore you with now I need to pretty empty my garage of all my possessions,, there is loads , some big things some small some useful somemaybe not ?
I can't really do a job lot as I haven't got the time to list it all,

So was thinking - maybe advertise a garage. Clearence ( on here first )
Then allocate time slots to people to arrive (and bring ID) that way the cctv will help find them if they decide to come back and take it at a later date !
I'm hopeful no one on here would be like that of course but ya never know who is reading this ?

I can try n list stuff but it's going to be a kinda turn up with cash have a looky and pay n take it away type deal

Please don't ask what's there as yet until I decide how it's going to be done or try reserving a slot Laughing

Anyone got any comments or suggestions please ?

Thanks in advance

Richard

Will there be tools available?

Without boring us, it could be congratulations, or sorry to hear. So delete the appropriate sentiment.

Limited hand tools, as where ever I end up I want to take all my best spanners and sockets with me, had them since I was 18 and that was a few years back now Laughing
Some power tools some air tools, benches maybe compressors , mig welder so, trays of nuts n bolts ( new and in order of course )
All sorts of "stuff" we Landy folk keep Thumbs Up

And it's not the outcome of life I expected, but hey ho, a new adventure awaits ?

What I'd do is list the big, valuable, shiny, saleable items here or on ebay etc as appropriate.

Group the rest into job lots, electrical, brake parts and so on and enjoy a day out at an autojumble.

Whatever is left try boot sales.

Be lucky Thumbs Up

agree with shropshiredefender

I've traded lots on here (DEF2), and always enjoyed my interactions with people. Sometimes I've had some great Defender chats, and other times just a quick meet somewhere...

I always look at the "For Sale" stuff here... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Just take a number of pictures of the inside of your garage.
Then post a picture (s) on here & invite people to express an interest in an item that they can see in the picture.
Then you can give them a price for that item OR you can say sorry not for sale or sold.
Saves having to list anything.
Just needs to conform to forum rules. May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful.

I wonder if there's people out there that'll ebay it for you and take a percentage?

Perhaps a student?
