Defender2 discount

Is there any standard def2 forum member discount code applicable to your online store?

Best thing is chat to Brendan or Barbera - always massively knowledgeable and helpful. Usually throw-in free delivery or similar, but TBH the advice and help is worth £ anyway, so always happy to pay the bill Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Go wash your mouth out with soap and water, put that hairy shirt on and get ready for being tarred and feathered!

There is no standard discount for Defender 2 forum members or any other social media group.

What is standard at 4x4overlander is good quality products that we have used ourselves on our travels, at reasonable prices, coupled with good advice and information.
Any goodwill gesture is normally reserved for repeat customers and depends on many factors like what items, our margins, exchange rates etc

You could always try sweet talking Barbara. Good luck Razz

Brendan,

As a fellow business owner, i have to ask why you answer a potential customer this way?

You could have said. Our business doesn’t differentiate on price. Our policy is to offer the best customer support at our best possible pricepoint to all our customers. Therefore we don’t have a separate discount to forum members.

Some sponsors do offer discounts, so this question can be expected.

I read the commenta of your customers and they do really praise your assistance and knowledge, why not let your customers do the talking? a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

Hi TDi4, yes you may ask, no I do not mind.

I try to get a rapport going with potential customers and maybe some people do not understand my sense of humour..

As you point out our other customers, often answer queries and recommend us and the products we sell..

Many of our customers become friends and visit us for a drink tea/coffee/beer and the lucky ones even get one of Barbara's buns ( in fact some come along to shows to see us just for a bun)

I think people who know us realise that they will get good honest advice and information from Barbara and myself often based on experience so that they can make an informed considered decision about potential purchases.

If my sense of humour has upset anyone I apologise.

I could just say I am still trying for my Yorkshire citizenship and in Gods own county that is hard work if not impossible. For those not in this county the definition of a Yorkshireman is a Scot with the last ounce of generosity squeezed out the f him.
