Alarm
I've looked around the net but can't find an answer to this one. I've recently added a new alarm fob to my td5 which works fine but tonight I noticed that when I now lock the defender the indicators flash 4 times and not 3 Confused I'm not sure if this has happened for the last couple of days since adding the new fob or if it's just started tonight but on the old fob it only flashed 3 times. I'm going to check what the old fob does tomorrow but in the mean time Does anyone know what 4 flashes means before I go further?

Cheers

Ok I've tried the old and new fob this morning. Using the old fob, unlock flashes once and lock flashes three times and using the new fob, unlock flashes twice and lock flashes four times Shocked is this normal or do I have a problem? I can't find any mention of different amount of flashes anywhere other than not flashing if the fob battery is low or door switches not working. I think I'm going to go back to using the old fob until I've found out what's happening. Ray

Can you go through checking all is working ie setting off the alarm, try to start car with fob away from ignition, locking and unlocking doors with key and seeing if alarm triggers?

Everything seems to work the same as my old fob so I'm guessing it's fine Confused Ray
