Insurance for cat D motors
Hi
I inherited/purchased a Land Rover with a cat D tag

Apparantly I can get the motor checked by an engineer and if passed will be tagged as Cat D inspected

My question is. Are there specific motor engineer examiners the insurance people use, and is it worth having it done ie would more insurance companies class the motor as a non cat D for quote purposes.

Thanks

Hello :)
Hello,

Cat C & D is fine for your insurance quotation and as far as we are aware you can go to an MOT centre and they will advise you.

Thanks,
