Hello
Hello,

I will be doing another event at some point (hoping 2018 but will see how things are progressing)

2017 has been a 'challenging' year in my full time job, interspersed with some big highs working on vehicle events for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, as well as having a slightly epic trip with the 110 to Romania.

The upshot of this is that I have decided to return to being a full time self employed person, and concentrate on vehicle events and industrial safety.

One of the avenues I will be pursuing will be to organise more guided tours and 4x4/ATV and quadbike tuition- so please watch this space!

In addition.......if anyone needs a 4x4 driver, swiftwater and flood rescue, or confined space rescue specialist- you know where to find me.

Hi Chris,

Good for you bud, I'm a wee bit jealous to be honest Smile

Let me know when you have anything planned, I'd be up for it (assuming dates are ok of course).

Cheers

Hi Chris,

Congratulations to going back on your own, I'm in the throws of starting on my own for the first time.

A mate of mine went on the last trip and I would be very interested in joining the group this time.

Hello,

Had a chat with Ian last week, he is happy to do more events this year, and has been looking at some more routes that may be doable.

I hope to be in a position to be giving some more concrete information at the end of January.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I have recently returned to self employment, and guided 4x4 trips are hopefully going to make up a part of what I do, so I'm keen to do more if there is interest.

Highland All terrain
Hello,

I have spent a bit of time on the phone with Ian this afternoon discussing a potential plan for another trip to the Highlands.

Currently we re looking at 12/13 May as a likely dates.

As with before, the tracks and venues we would use be more akin to 'greenlaning' than heavy offroading- although I am sure, like last time there would be the opportunity for us to find a few challenges for those who are feeling adventurous!

Day 1 would likely be at the Ardverikie estate (as per the previous trip) and Day two will be on a different estate, we have a few options, which we would have to confirm closer to the time.

The trip will be priced at £80 a day- and will be limited to 8 vehicles

At this stage I am not taking bookings, but am looking for expressions of interest to see if the trip would be viable.

Best Regards

Chris [/u]
