Fitted new Hannibal rack today, it arrived next day but they did manage to forget the ladders. Nene were Very apologetic and couriered them immediately !

Thought you’d like to see my setup for getting it on the roof by yourself when you don’t want to part with your beer supply !

After a few days of my Eberspacher not working properly I got it sorted today, not before time as I've been feeling the cold! Mine runs off a seperate tank as it gets fed on red diesel as I'm a skinflint and I had let the tank run low. I had the feeling that the problem was diesel orientated so yesterday I took the filter out of the feed line of the pulse pump, cleaned it and got it going but it cut out after 10 minutes but I'd run out of time to do anything else.
Today I picked up an inline fuel filter to add to the feed line. I took the tank out and rinsed it out and sorted out the feed line to the pulse pump. There was a kink in the line which I cut out, fitted the filter, filled with fresh diesel and began the laborious task of bleeding the diesel to the heater. I'm happy with having a D1 as it's too basic to have the lock-outs and restricted restarts that call for resetting the system. Well it did take about four attempts but all sorted now in time for yet another cold morning tomorrow

I had to go from Chelmsford Essex to Barnes South West London to watch my son play rugby ,this is the first time I have used it on a cold, wet day and found the heated seats to work well and the heated to work too well ,with it just on the first setting I had to keep opening the window still better than being cold ,I have also fitted the Mud heater bit of kit that directs the heat away from you knee and on to your feet a must, it's also the first time I have used the slick shift gear change ,driving around London with a manual box is never going to be good but I found the slick shift very nice to use, when I took the old one out the plastic ball had a crack so wouldn't of lasted much longer.again a nice mod.

Can I please ask members to be more responsible with the photos they take and post. Don't care a fudge that you were in traffic when you took the shot, just that there's a damn good pub a few metres to your right and I'm stuck in France and can't go there. I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

I can certainly stand on it. What I’d do when up there I have no idea Rolling Eyes but does make a good dog lead attachment point and also deflect and pedestrians/vehicles away from the rear Thumbs Up 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html
