2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black

Rijidij wheel carrier

I read on Aulro that this carrier is similar to the Kaymar I use, equally strong and seemingly pretty similar design and installation too, but with the added advantage over the Kaymar that it opens together with the door in one move.
Does anybody on here in Europe have a Rijidij single wheel carrier installed?
Probably a rhetorical question, but are you happy with it? Any drawbacks at all? (unlikely)
Any distributors know in Europe? Nothing is sure yet, but thinking about possibly replacing my Kaymar by a Rijidij carrier.

Another VERY well known Aussie.
Check out his website & see the work that goes into these carriers,...He makes a heap of stuff including a range of bullbars.
His wheel carrier would be one of the most well engineered ones I've seen.

You just cut a few cm of the narrow metal strip separating the rear tub from the rear crossmember, and which has no structural function.(see detail below) You certainly don’t cut into the tub itself. That is similar as with my Kaymar. Those two Aussie carriers are stronger than anything else, no wobbling or other. Rijidij probably the best of the two, that’s why I’m thinking about it.

I have the jerry can spare wheel combination on the rear of my Puma 90. Rock solid and will probably outlive the vehicle. I was really keen to get the spare off the door and the jerry cans are a cheaper solution to the small fuel tank on the 90. Sill tanks were going to cost upwards of $1200 each.

I have a twin spare carrier from rijidij also, super happy with it, amazing quality. I would recommend it. It's identical to the spare + jerry can combo structurally.

Looking at these at the moment, wondering if any of the single hinge options (Safari Equip, Nakatanenga, etc.) have a hi-lift jack mount as standard or option?

Aus based might be helpful considering I'm in NZ

Neither the Nakatanenga or Safari Equip single point wheel carriers have an option for mounting a high lift jack.

However you can get a mount for spare wheel. In AUSTRALIA
