I coated it with two coats of raptor bedliner

Inside and out...

Lets say i hope the chassis lasts me 10-15yrs so i may recover some of my repair costs

I'm sure it will be fine. Having used Raptor previously it seems to be down to the surface prep and undercoat. That said most of the stuff I did was fresh aluminium.
