Leaving the fold... but suspect I'll be back in the future
Hello all,

Been a rather long time since I've been on here but last week, the 110 was sold and now something Jap and shiny is on the drive. A difficult decision to make but the right one for the moment.

I've had massive fun over the past seven or so years with the Td5. This forum and it's members have been instrumental in resolving a good many niggles myself or at least giving me the ability to point those with far greater mechanical skills in the right direction. Bow down

I've also had the pleasure over the years, of meeting a good number of members on laning/camping/off road/factory visit trips and have made many new friends. (Am I still allowed on a particular farm in Wales if I promise not to tackle any of the off road course in the new motor? Wink )

So, thank you all for your help, input and friendship over the past few years. It's been an absolute blast and I'll be back... Just not sure when yet.

There might be a few bits and bobs up for sale in the near future, when I can sort my garage out.

Happy Defendering!

Cheers

Jon Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Hey Jon
You don't need to have one right now to stay, so please hang around until you get another.
Your posts have been of great value

Jon, mistake!!!!!! Shocked

Haven't you noticed I have a Defender back because one gets bored with shiny cars?
Anyways, happy motoring.

Still feel guilty about my dogs stealing your and your son's burgers at Mountain Man's place!
Not sure if the pack of butter was also yours? Mr. Green

Thanks all. I'm now the proud (I think) owner of a Nissan X-trail. A world apart from the 110. Boring for sure but I can live with that for now. (he says only one week in!)

I suspect my return to the green oval will be for a play thing rather than a daily driver. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

You'll soon be bored of driving a warm, reliable, comfortable vehicle that doesn't consume all your income in fuel. Laughing
