Well I can't see anything on my switch to connect cable to , so thinking I'll just get the right switch.

Land rover parts are telling me part EEP191L is LHD only does that sound right ?
Also tying to understand how this actually works , ie hwo is the witch activated / depressed

When properly installed the black square plunger is what activates the circuit. With the hand brake lever in the up position (transmission brake engaged) it works by closing the circuit (the plunger is out). When the the hand brake is in the down position it opens the ciruit and the light goes goes out (plunger is in). 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

new part arrived and fitted and now working as expected , just need to find the plastic nails now to hold the gator in place

not yet fixed..
OK bit of a novice; my handbrake light ceased a while go, (only thought about it after I tried to drive one day...)
I moved rubber gaiter aside & put a meter on the single wire, with ignition on it reads 10.7V on a few earth points. No idea why, to check my metering the battery read 12.1.
I kjnda assume that if it's got 11V or so, then the dash light should come on when earthed?? It doesn't.
Does this prove the dash light is faulty?
Thanks experts. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz
Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ...
