that was the plan, but does it matter which end of the cooler? drivers side seems more accessible rather than taking the valve off Cheers

I've only heard of fitting EGR end, and is this way on mine. Recommended by Alive.)
You should be able to slip the blank in from the side and only loosen the bolts. The tricky bit is getting the bolts back in and the gasket once removed completely. But you won't have that, as most blanks you can slip in from the side. Click image to enlarge Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧 |

thank you Steve, so on that picture it goes next to the cooler rather than on the flexi down pipe fitting?
Out of interest how many miles on that vehicle - looks chocked! Cheers James 110 XS Utility 130 Puma Station wagon/camper (in the making) 90 Puma Hardtop |

Yes, cooler side. Gasses are from exhaust manifold through cooler, through egr exiting the flexipipe. Mileage that was only around 36k (I can't quite remember) I'm on just turned 60k now. I replaced the EGR for brand new and it went under not 6 months later again. Since I also now run Millers diesel additive too. You'd be surprised how dirty they get Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
