Put the blanking plate in and wasn't any better. After you'd said that when you unplugged yours it ran fine I did the same but no difference.

I have had this error code.......

Which I haven't seen before so have changed the actuator for one I had lying around but haven't had chance to drive it yet.

Was talking to a friend with a 2.2 and the arm on theirs seems to move a lot more

Ok.
Don't know the fault code number but LR service found that ECU box is broken.
They will try an new ECU some day soon I hope.

And no smoke when egr connector unplugged.

Let us know how you get on. I'm starting to think that my problem is possibly based around the ECU. If the local dealership ever give it back I might be able to investigate a bit more

So I have remapped my car and EGR is taken off
Engine runs well but still there is a visible black smoke sometimes when accelerating 4 and 5th gear.
I'll put planking plate on thursday so let see what happens then.

Vesku - your are the lucky one!
My 110 still rattling and black smoking when accelerate
After MAF changed, EGR and gaskets revised, turbine's hose pipes inspected
Officials says that turbine need to be changed or restored. But ! Oil level still stays normal and that why I'm confused
Cos if turbine makes problem - oil level should be lowering (I've been told) ... Defender 110 '07

Local LR service checked intercooler/turbohoses but they could not find any damage there.
So I checked those pipes again and there it was. A 3cm long cut on cooler pipe.
Ordered silicone ones and a Serck cooler and now my defender flies!
