Greetings.
I have an issue with my front wipers. They do not go back to the normal seating position if I turn it to the off position. It will stop a half second or so after I turn it off and it will stay where it is instead of going back down to the lower windshield position. What can be wrong? I was thinking the relay. If so, should I upgrade it to the one that people suggest from a VW? What is that part number? I'm in Canada, is there a part number from another vehicle that I can use that is sold in Canada,? Thanks again |

Wiper motor park switch has packed up. Can be replaced fairly easily. This thread explains all!

There's only one motor for the front wipers. On a LHD vehicle, it's located behind the RH end of the dash. It drives both wipers via a flexible spiral drive rack. The park switch will be the same regardless of which side the motor is mounted. Darren
