Heated front screen
My windscreen smashed today and I'm looking to replace it with a heated one. My pauper spec car didnt have such luxuries from new.
I want to get a kit that comes with a new loom and switch etc.
I thought it logical to take power from the existing missing fuse in the main fuse box, but on inspection I found that not only is the fuse missing but the metal bits that the fuse makes contact with arent there.
So is the answer is to pick up power from elsewhere (switched?), if so where cuz I assume its high current draw?

I dont know for sure.
I know the missing extras like electric windows, AC, etc dont have any 'fittings' in the slots for the fuses so I assume probably not.
Why would you make a fuse box without the fittings in? Cost savings would be minuscule.

My '07 County spec DC had everything for the HRW bar the switch and the relay. I used them for my rear work lights.

It was I think the middle spec version, with central locking and electric windows, but unheated cloth seats, no a/c, no HFS, no ABS. Mine had no HFS wiring but did have HRS wiring.
