TD5 2005 XS Heated Seats - value?
Hi all,

Just wondering, before I move forward on my new seat plans, what people think my current chairs are worth?

I've been offered £150 by LRI which I reckon is a little on the low side since they would be ready to bolt straight into a new vehicle and are in very good nick for 12 year old seats!

Thoughts anyone? I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Could really do with a photo of the condition before I could judge the price though £150.00 seems reasonable for 12 year old seats. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

As with everything, they are only worth what you can get someone to pay for them.

£150 is a lot more than them sitting in your garage and repeated ebay posts with no takers. Saying that, add a few quid, put them on ebay and see what happens. If they go, happy days, if they don't, you're £150 up on where you would have been.

As with all trade-ins, you will never be offered top dollar.

Brand new from Urban Truck £600, fully heated
12 year old, put on eBay with what you would accept as a start

eBay tends to go for the market value, £150 sounds reasonable dependent on condition

That's my thinking but I wanted to know if I put them on at, say, £250 whether I'd be laughed out of town... By the looks of things, I would!

It really is all relative, it depends on the condition and type of fabric, if its the half leather trim then they will be worth £250 in good condition? 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW
