Tips and tricks - Thermostat water heater tube 300TDI
Hi Forum,

I have ordered a replacement PEP102841 for a rather rusted and pitted water heater tube (my one doesnt have the hex on it)

I have fund getting the old one out almost an impossible task - any pointers of how to approach?

lots of plus gas, a deep six sides socket! try nipping it up a little tighter first as this can sometimes break the rust.
or maybe an impact gun on it. My 109 thread

Good set of mole grips? Drill a hole all the way through and use a screwdriver to get some leverage? Tom
