Finally seeing her starting to change, also had her checked over and serviced at a local lr specialist who could point out any future work unknown about, overall he was impressed and reckoned got a bargain and a great starting point. Was wanting an experienced pair of eyes over her and i ain't got the full health or gear for the servicing yet. He agrees on her being a good candidate for a galvie chassis, and some body work, which may start soon

It made it out for our first camping trip to the lakes, just the one night very spur of the moment but a great night  Click image to enlarge That little trip helped remind me of a project had planned for the previous 90 and that had the materials for it still.... First to block the holes from the old bench seats... And glue, many thanks for the recommendation on the sticky stuff remover, took a few applications and plenty elbow grease, I didn't have the aerosol type just the liquid, maybe the aerosol would have made lighter work of it. Cleaned up the areas around each hole which were showing signs of oxidation, then gave couple coats special metals primer, including few areas of tub floor, which just needed some fibre glass filler. Tried it on the bolt holes but just falling through. Click image to enlarge Made up some alluminium patches which also got primed Click image to enlarge Then applied with tiger seal, was toying with lots of ideas of how to block them but went with this, know not the strongest option but see how it has played by time the rebuild comes round. Then got the rubber matting cut to size, applied with contact adhesive, then the ally angle riveted in place.
