Dual Finish Alloys and spacers?
Afternoon All,

I know, I know, another spacer thread!!

I'm sorry to start another one but I've searched previous threads and nothing mentions dual finish wheels. But then I'm sure you'll tell me if they're no different to Boost.

I've got my15 110xs sw on Dual Finish alloys, been thinking about fitting spacers a. For the better stance and b. After I adjusted the steering stops I got all excited about not having to do a 3 point to get out of the drive and thought maybe spacers will make it even better.

So over to you, will they make much difference?
Which ones do you recommend?

Thanks in advance, Mark Thumbs Up The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

From what i've seen of them they look like the Boost casting/Forging with some extra machining done on the outer faces.

Thumbs Up Thanks!

What spacers did you use? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

They are 30mm spacers, I think they were from Terrafirma but it was over three years ago that they were fitted so I might be wrong. The alloys need refurbished now as they have not survived the last 3 Aberdeen winters very well so I have been thinking swapping them out for 18s from Twisted with 285 AT3s. The sensible option is £65 per wheel refurb and keep the current set up.

This photo better shows the fit in the arches, tyre just inside the wheel arch and has passed the MOT with this set up.

Thanks for the last photo, I was a bit concerned that the tyres would sit outside the arches.
The terrafirma ones seem to be the best value at around £120 for 4 with the nuts. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.
