| ATTEMPTED THEFT IN LLANGOLLEN DISTRICT | |
Thought I would post this this morning as it happened either yesterday morning or this morning:
A friend was woken at 2am and has posted this on their Facebook page. I'll update if any developments:
" Please everyone be warned. Last night the door bell rang 4 times at 2am. We had the sense not to answer, and not turn any lights on - (although we did investigation with my husband being a doctor - just in case a neighbour had problems). From my bedroom window I could see a man hiding behind our car on the drive. Our CCTV footage shows menacing behaviour where 2 men were involved. Both targeted our house - and are seen walking down ????? Road and putting their hoods up before walking down our drive to ring our doorbell. One carried a rucksack, and one looked armed - maybe a long knife(machete?). Their intention I believe was to overpower who ever opened the door and steal our Landrover. Who knows...when I work out how to put the footage on Facebook I will. Hopefully on Monday. We rang the police and further spoke to them this morning. No one has visited us yet about the incident. "
So glad I'm armed
