The perils of social media.........

There is an amusing piece in the Times today highlighting the perils of social media in combination with being as thick as a whale omelette. The DJ Tim Westwood accidentally put a private message on a public Snapchat:

'Baby, looking forward to taking you to dinner on Thursday.....I appreciate you may wanna get nails, hair and a wax....use my card it's black with private banking so no limit...' He then included a photo of said card.....

Apparently the reaction on social media was split between the feminists outraged that he was prepping his date to address any unsightly spiders legs, and those intent on abusing his largesse. Within an hour 80 attempts had been made to use his card including one for 12 Louis Vitton bags at £4,700 a piece.

Marvellous.

As a rule i wont allow family or work on any of my social media at all, people I barely know are massively limited. Been burned once never again!
