Boost alloys paint
Out of interest does anyone know the paint code for the boost alloys?

I have feeling it maybe metallic Zermatt silver, but could well be wrong hence asking.

Wondering what to do with slight alloy marking from removed balancing weights.

I don't think any polishing would help at all in this instance Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

The code is MNH, I too have the same problem with the paint lifting where weights have been hammered on. Any tips on repairing would be great, which primer is best?

I would have thought Acid Etch primer being alloy, a spot repair won't be absolutely flawless but barely noticeable compared to the damage.
I think and often have heard the paint is very thin, the clear coat doesn't seem over thick either.

My latest weights have been put on the inside of my Boosts which makes me wonder why on earth they were put on the outside anyway.
They look brilliant completely without on the outside.

England 1994 Defender 90 200 Tdi HT Montalcino Red
They don't always balance correctly on the inside, I've seen some wheels with stick on weights stacked three high. Also although you don't notice you would be shocked at the amount of corrosion on the inside of ally wheels as paint is virtually nill on the inside.

I too have this issue picking up a set of 5 X boost alloys cleaned um up , a few marks, scuffs and curbing etc. Took outside weights off with some difficulty only to find the paint missing underneath , not happy as I could live with the rest. I was looking into try and touch them up etc but now thinking I'll get my local body shop to re paint them for approx 30 a wheel for the sake of hassle and expense. I was hoping to get them balanced with weights on inside only or magnetic ones on inside or something..
