Its a great idea and a simple design. Im not sure if xeng have made a puma one yet but I can't imagine that one would take too much fettling to make it fit. Probably have to fit some dislocation cones on the back then incase the spring drop. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Recent discovery.... My truck is Galway green not aintree. I think aintree is more bluey but I prefer the Galway.

I have already sprayed my grille and headlight surrounds satin black but I am now thinking gloss for wing mirrors, windscreen brakets, air intake, wingtop grilles and recoat the grille and headlight surrounds.

Is Santorini black special or is it just gloss black? Already got some clear coat just need the black. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Well... Just bought my BAS2 RRC and map. So hopefully by the end of the week I should have a lot more torque. Also fitted x-eng door catches to the front doors.
Old ones had worn plastic sleeves and were squeeking like mad. New ones are perfect and hopefully shouldn't catch my belt loop. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Interesting reading, thanks. Any tips for rubbing down the grilles ready for painting or is it just a case of slow and laborious?

Ps you're going to love the BAS treatment! James

I've already painted mine so I'm just going to key it up with wire wool or scotchbrite then recoat and re lacquer. First time I primed and keyed between coats.

I hear he's a genius. Can't wait. Taking the laptop to work so I can install as soon as it's done. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Pete emailed me at 8am saying the map was online. Just driven to work Thumbs Up
Defiantly different. Quite a few places I'd usually be back to 2nd I can just stay in 3rd.
People had mentioned 1st being useless but I still find I use it a bit but I don't know if that's cause I have larger than standard tyres. Going to have a good road test later but on the way here the temp didn't get any higher than usual.
Next item on shopping list is a Hi Flow cooler from BAS. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

EGR blanking plate fitted. Hand is bleeding and black. For such a simple job it caused a lot of swearing. The water hose right below the bottom bolt had a hose clip tight to the head of the bolt so had to manoeuvre that round first.
Made sense to me to put gasket in between plate and exhaust side? 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Booking truck in at Devon 4x4 tomorrow for new transfer box with sleeved casing and ATB. Mine has started to leak on the intermediate shaft and is making some noises. Be nice to see how much of my drive train slack is in the box. Hopefully all of it or I'll be getting 2 new diff's for my birthday. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Truck is back from holidays. ATB centre diff fitted, brake fluid changed and a new set of pads. 90% of my slack was in the transfer box. What's left is in the diff's and drive flanges but this is not worth thinking about as it's so little. Had a little test for the ATB. The roads around here have been surface dressed so its like a rally stage out there. Even when using all the power the traction control has yet to come on and you get no under steer or oversteer, just traction.

Great work by Devon4x4 and Ashcroft Transmissions 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.
