Did I miss a thread? What have you bought?

Mr. Green

No separate thread at the moment! I bought a red 300tdi because I was getting a bit precious about the green one Laughing

Lovely indeed. Cool

I think that I would swap over the 'LED' front from the green one to the red one... and vice versa. Thumbs Up

More in keeping with both IMHO Wink YOLO... You Only Live Once...

I read from the 1st page right the way through, and I have to say, you wouldn't even think it was the same landy! looks worlds a part! Also with you showing the 88 with the 90, it really does show how larger the 90 is over the older generation.
I found the sealing you did on the doors very interesting there, mine are leaking and day light even appears at round 70 mph, on the top of the drivers door. Did this help sort your leaking problems? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

The seals definitely helped, as did a lot of time spent going over all of the leaky spots and plugging them carefully with caulk. I've got it down to a fine art when replacing the hood frame and canvas!

With a hard top it should be easy - in the sense that when you've done it the once that should be it!

Because I've got two piece doors, I've also been able to set the top half at a slight angle so that when shut the door top presses nice and hard against the seal. I'm not sure this is possible with the one piece doors?

what sealing strip did you use? looks like that's going to be a worthy upgrade. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I'm pretty sure it was something like this ... 10mm rubber edging strip

Its an ENO ""Roadie Hammock" frame, with pads that sit under the wheels, into which you slot the upright poles. They are from the USA, but they ship to the UK and my friend had no problems getting it over. I might get one myself Cool
