Any Electricians?
Iv'e just bought a single phase 2hp 2800 rpm induction motor for a machine at work. I took the top off because i need to wire in the switch and although the motor runs fine it just looks a bit odd the way it's wired. I've had lots of motors over the years and this just seems different some how. Can anyone cast an eye over it to see if it all looks ok.
Obviously I will re-do the iffy looking connections!

That is wired up ok , the capacitor is In series and both windings have a live and neutral, if you need to change the direction you can alter the polarity by moving the position of the plates , hope this helps.
