On all accounts I find the KM2 very good on the road which is great for such a capable off road road tyre. It's definitely best to avoid excessive hard acceleration and braking if you can help it. But that's something to consider anyway. I'd imagine the alternate tread block wear is down to acceleration as force is applied to tread blocks as they grip the road. There would be some differences in grip and flex on the rubber each revolution between gripping and coming off the road surface. Of course if you drive in back lanes and lock up or brake really hard you could easily rip into certain areas of tread blocks. This is something I always do my best to avoid simply by keeping speed down in lanes. I can't say I've noticed uneven wear in around 30k. But there is some more wear in the inner shoulders on the fronts. I'm wondering if that maybe due to the slightly narrower nature of the 235's. I must admit, despite cost I do like a matching set of 5 or at the very least set of four. Which is a real pain if you get a cut or puncture. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
