Austria 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Tamar Blue
BAS2 RRC vs. GAPIID Tool

Is it possible to upgrade a RRC to full spec IIDTool functionality? Seems to work the other way round, according to the BAS website.
I've got the BAS2 RRC for my MY11 Puma Defender (2.4, best modification so far) and would like one dongle for fault code diagnosis and remap - and maybe even save some quid, by the way...

Thanks,
Helmut

The BAS2 RRC tool is engine only so not able to upgrade to full IID type tool.

Having said that there is not a great deal of diagnostics on the defender - maybe the ABS but that is very rarely needed so the BAS2 RRC is what you want, and already have, as it remaps and reads and clears fault codes Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free
