| Central Scotland Green Road Run 21st October | |
Sorry for the late notice but I have only just found out myself.
Tomorrow Sunday 21st October the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club is staging a very pleasant Green Road Run on the Argartten Peninsular on the west side of Loch Long. Meet at the public toilets at Tarbert on the West side of Loch Lomond at 10-1030. The routes will be non damaging, no special tyres will be needed and it is a family dayb out. Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a leash when not in the car. The tracks are all Forestry Commission trails and as a result there will be a charge by FE of £10+ VAT to cover their costs of having to get somebody out of bed on a Sunday to unlock and relock the gates for us.
These tracks are less than an hour's drive from the centre of Glasgow and are suitable for any modern Land Rover
Just a word of warning for those coming who have low profile tyres on 19" wheels - I can guarantee that you will get them scratched! _________________ No Def2 just a very muddy Epsom Green Tdi300 County Hard Top that has been converted into a Station Wagon and apart from a set of Sumo Bars and BFG MTR's its bog standard - now with a shiney new galvanised chassis
