I'm keen on the ogon carbon one ... I think next assignment will be in London and underground would be a haven for card data smugglers...

I bought a Lifeventure RFID passport case from Blacks camping shop.
It's small, has credit card and banknote stowage and cost a tenner |

Again another lifeventure user also from blacks, nice simple wallet for cards cash and coin, seems quite durable too. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I found it easier to just cut a piece of out the right edge of the card to disable completely. Still works in a PIN machine and I have an Oyster card for my trips to London.
If you want to test the card, there are plenty of Android apps that work with NFC. Now where did I leave my tin-foil hat? |

RFID? What RFI for Defender? A new item from one of the sponsors? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

this is what we are talking about ...
http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Technology-Article.asp?ArtNum=5 If you wallet is in close proximity to a scrote with a RFID reader - they can transact with your card without your knowledge |

^^ I know that, just teasing. No problem here for two reasons. Credit card companies have insurance against such fraud, but moreover, those readers you mention there are illegal in our country, so nobody will bring them in, let alone use them.
Seriously, I've had several cases of significant fraudulous use of my credit card data, each time the card companies ate their losses without discussion. Once they even told me that they have insurance for such cases, hence why I mentioned it. And no, I'm not going to walk around with a lead insulated credit card holder. ah, I see, I wondered, there is a very low crime rate in Switzerland (at least petty crime), they leave the big crime to the finance houses (enough said)
if you did get swiped .. think about how much time would be eaten up calling the bank, waiting to talk to someone, filling out forms etc ... I bought some sleeves, pretty light weight - I'll pop one in the post to you.. but I'm a sucker for anything carbon |

I only ever carry one card and no cash, I don't think I've had a wallet for 20plus years. The card lives between my iphone and its case, so it can't be scanned.
I've tried wave my phone in front of scanners to pay for stuff many times and it won't work...so I see it as safe. |

Don't post it. Simply bring it over in person, lovely summer weather we have here now, time to fire up the BBQ. I am ready to swap the sleeve against a wooden box we have stored somewhere. Just kidding about the sleeve, don't think I would use it. Unless it has the Mont Blanc logo on its black leather cover, I might reconsider then. Eric You never actually own a Defender.
