I replaced mine a few years ago and they have cracked again, I thought about buying some 5mm acrylic and making my own. The price of the new genuine ones have gone up a lot as well!

I'd make your own out of ply wood. Ray

Land Rover have biffed up the prices of a lot of spare parts.
For instance the rev counter has gone up from £85 to £300. |

I recovered all 4 rear seats 18 months ago and the mount points were broken on every base.
Seems LR changed from hardboard to plastic around TD5's, plastic are hugely more expensive so I went for hardboard, although the mount point for the rubber leg stopper was in a different place. Have lasted so far but expensive for a bit of painted hardboard. Other option I thought of was using black phenolic sheet, a substitute for tufnol. 400mm x 600mm x 4mm sheets available on eBay for just under £20 each and should be hugely stronger than original but would need length trimming and holes drilled (was planning to use best old one as a template) |
