Rear speaker housings 90 TDCi
Hi All
I'm in the process of getting a radio/CD for my 90 TDCi, which was never fitted with one. The front speakers appear to be easy to fit behind the speaker covers provided. However, the rear speaker housings look like they have been blanked off. Is there a removable cover there or do I have to cut the housings to fit the speakers?
Thanks in advance.

When i fitted speakers to my heritage, i went and bought replacement trims from land rover, they weren't too expensive. There are two different part numbers with and without holes. I did this in case it was necessary to put it back to standard. Otherwise, you could simply cut holes in your existing ones. Buying new ones meant i didn't have to worry about getting my holes perfectly round and centred or the screw holes in the right places....

The speaker wires were already in behind the trims, so easy enough to connect. However, at the front the factory transposed the speaker/tweeter wire positions on one side, that was a pita! Current Steeds:

Hi Farmer58za,

There are two different rear speaker housing. One with speaker hole and one without speaker hole.
This is the number of your trim without the hole: ERQ500190PMA and ERQ500180PMA
You can cut it out but the speaker will not be perfectly fitted.

This is the number of the trim with speaker hole:ERQ500130PMA and ERQ500120PMA. Thumbs Up
