I use a brass pump design for pumping waste oil out of the marine engines. I jus have to make sure I don't mix the clean oil pump up with the waste oil pump.
Easy to use little mess and in full control.
Great for gearboxes, transfers, overdrives, diffs etc.

Bought an oil pump for quick fill similar to Phatcat and one of these (ebay)281216618303 for topping up axles.
Got a series 1 so I spend quite a few hours pumping oil .... Series I 86" Petrol orig side valve (daily hack)

An old thread - came across this recently after a search on the subject....

Was doing the shopping in Lidl today, had some of those 'Florabest' garden sprayers for £3. Job needs doing and I have the MTF in the garage, so I bought one. Remove the the brass spout and attach a peice of hose - gearbox oil change done, easy as! Highly recommended.

Hmmm got the transfer box to do as well... do I clean it, or at £3 just bin it and buy another? 👿
