fitting 265/75/16
Hi all,

I know this topic has been covered before.

I am currently running the standard General Grabbers 235/85/16 tyres on Boost alloys with a 2" lift
(if that makes any difference) and I like the idea of fitting 265/75/16 BF Goodrich tyres.

Would 265/75/16 effect the Speedo or anything else?
Do I need wheel spacers or is it a straightforward swap over?

Any thoughts or advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Cheers mick,

No spacers? Did you need to adjust your steering stop bumps?

You may need to adjust the steering stops depending on whether they have been adjusted already to get maximum lock from the 235s.

If they're still on the factory settings then it's likely that they'll be ok Thumbs Up

265-75-16 BF Goodrich AT's on mine as standard, fitted 30mm spacers and wound in the steering stops, it now has a good tight turning circle and disappears up it own exhaust pipe quicker than that........

Unbelieveable....

I passed by looking for clues as to whether my 265 would be ok if I removed my wheel spacers and right by the top I find this!

Prompted by the wish not to have constant mud spray up the side, I may give it a go...I can always put them back.

Thanks. Very Happy
