I've run a fair few different MTs over the years (and ATs) and reckon there's not a huge a amount of difference in road noise overall. I tend to allow +1 click on the stereo volume of ATs and +2-3 clicks for MTs!

How stable are they at 65/70? Tempted to get a set because of their load rating, plus I want a change from BFG MT's, but I notice they are only rated to 68mph! Speed rating seems very low...

I drive mine normally at 70 to 80mph and the defender feels fine.
I'm happy with mine and have not heard of any bad reviews.
But I've never had the BFG.
