I'd crack the line off going to the fuel cooler, see if fuel is definitely making it to the front.

Agreed that the pump sounds ok, mine is only that loud when the tanks getting empty though.

When I replaced my engine it took a few priming cycles to get it to fire

Thanks for the reply guys.
Lozza I bought a genuine injector seals kit ages ago and think I try them just in case, is there any easy way of removing them or should I just buy the removal tool?

Make sure the bottom of the hole is near spotless and inspect around the holes for cracks at the same time.




Also, extract any excess diesel from the top of the piston, you'll need a syringe and small tubing.

In comparison to my fuel pump, yours is a little louder though doesn't sound as if there's much air in there.
