Td5 max radio dimensions...?
Hi,

I plan on getting a 1 DIN radio for my Td5, but I recall reading somewhere that space for the radio is limited. I am not sure if this was before or after the model update in 2002 (I have a MY2000). Is there anything I should look (out) for when ordering a radio (using the standard radio fascia)? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

Any standard din will fit. I had a Kenwood KIV-700 in my 90 with no problems, the space is only limited for double dins.

If yours is a 2000 then it is has the old dash, easy enough to pull your existing radio out to check!

If you want to double check im sure the measurements for the Kenwood KIV-700 are out there!

Since I've had the car, it hasn't had a radio. Even the fascia is not fitted, but I should have it somewhere in the pile of spare parts... Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

I'd just go and get one of the shallow ones with no CD slot these days, save having to beaten up all the cables to make space
