Franks 110 finished with an Isuzu lump in it. He's moved on to Range Rovers now, though. Darren

What a great response,,, never knew there was so many left, mines was written off, the rear axle was bent, it took the brunt of the collision, the roof came of as I rolled thru a hedge, it had a new [ black ]chassis on it. sold it on,
I"v a 300tdi M reg , [ eary too, with 333,000 miles on her, never broken down ,, the clutch rod pushed thru, [ 140.000] , but I still drove it home . [ started in low 2nd] and worked up the gears, Cool original starter replaced @ 280.000mls

Don't often see an early Roan Brown truck cab. Thumbs Up

gcc130, help me with my memory, did you put a pic of that on the Series Two forum a while ago?

Anyone interested in early One Tens or early Ninetys should be on the Facebook page of "The Stage Two Register '76-84".

A bit of a dry title, but some interesting stuff on there.

Yes Slideywindows, it was discussed on the Series 2 Club forum a while ago. I don't do Facebook but see the stage two page via my son. Perhaps we could also have a running thread on here for early one ten/ ninety as someone suggested earlier.

White wheels, do you still have your one ten? It would be good to see some pictures.

Here's another photo, The tailgate is a different shade of green, and there is evidence that it had a rear door at some point ? a shadow mark where the lower door hinge was and a hole in the floor for the door restraint.

Bows, what engine do you have in the One Ten?

If its a 2.25 (P or D) how well does it tow that trailer?

It was originally a 2.25 diesel, I have now shamefully replaced it with a 200tdi. In original spec it simply wouldn't have been up to the job. I once loaded the back with logs and had to make almost the entire 20 mile drive home in low range. It wasn't much better empty therefore I decided that if I wanted to enjoy using the vehicle i had to take drastic action. The 200 makes the vehicle but I did keep the 2.25. 2006 TD5110 station wagon

Did you change the transfer box?
Mine is very low geared, runs out of steam at about 60 with the 200 tdi fitted.
