Hello
We usually always stay near Keswick at Castlerigg Hall, however recently we have found a little farm which is Ace but this new year due to issues beyond their control we could not stay.. So I searched and found the Quite Site....Open ALL YEAR also http://thequietsite.co.uk/ Camping, Pods, Hobbit Holes... Brilliant place, amazing bar... Live music, their own beer !! Very Clean and tidy site... So Some of the site and some of Landys on our trip over New Year

It's actually called the Quiet Site

Strangely enough it's one that comes up quite regularly on the VW T5 forum as a recommended site, it's been on my list of "places to stay" for a while now but not got there yet... http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

First found this Quiet site twenty years ago and have been back many times with the caravan I can really recommend this place

Was great !!
We wanted to try a Hobbit hole but all booked up... Its not that pricey really... Pod around £50 for a family of 4 Think a Caravan pitch would be around £26 then add in the cost of the van and getting it there.. its all relative Great Site |
