Landy theft gang jailed.

Came across this in Classic Car Weekly..

A criminal gang have been imprisoned after being caught driving a stolen Land Rover Defender during an attempt to steal another.
CCW has previously reported of an increase of Classic car thefts in and around Kent, and how Land Rovers are especially vulnerable.

The iconic 4X4s are seen as highly valuable and are often easy to break into.
The criminals were sentenced at Maidstone crown court after each pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to steal.

William Bevan was jailed for two years and eight months.
Jamie Ceballos was jailed for one year and eight months.
Martin Ward was jailed for one year and six months.

Jonathan Delaney and Johnylee Eastwood were sentenced to 12 months suspended for 18 months.
Investigating officer, detective constable Iain Joyce says: the group deliberately targeted Land Rovers to sell on.
Kent police are urging LR owners to park in well lit areas, and are secured with no valuables left on display.

Delaney and Eastwood are out and about and the locals are keeping an eye on them from what I hear

, but hopefully as you say that the locals are keeping a very close eye on them
