I don't mind admitting to being stuck. I've come to terms with it now. But the hill climb off the beach was only completed on the first attempt by 2 trucks IIRC. Others had to lower tyre pressures even more and possibly pull a fuse or 2?? 110 D250 SE HT

I think each vehicle on that trip had it's pro's as well as cons. So there isn't a "perfect" vehicle. Everything is a compromise.
As long as your vehicle is looked after then you'll have no issues on a trip of this magnitude. 110 D250 SE HT

Of all the trips I've done, the White TD5 110 that accompanied us was the best.

Nothing to do with comfort, mechanical etc. All to do with the driver producing choc ices in the middle of the Sahara Bow down 110 D250 SE HT

A great trip with great people will always help the memory. We did Morocco 2 years running and sometimes the 2 trips merge and memories from 1 trip merge into the other. But it's always great to dig out the photos and videos of these trips to jog the memory.

As a side issue, the first year we went to Morocco, my co driver was my wife. Turned into a great trip and not that expensive. We lived in Warminster at the time, so door to door, including fuel, food, ferries, spending money. All in we spent less than £2K for a 2 week trip.
Luckily we had a man that was very good with route planning so we just followed the route chosen by him. No need for us to spend out on a guide. And both trips, he sorted out some great routes. Bow down Bow down 110 D250 SE HT
