Agreed valuation with higher mileages
Hi A-plan.

Are you able to provide an agreed valuation on a vehicle which does high mileage?

I have enquired in the past but I am told that because I do more than 3k a year I am unable to get agreed valuation on my vehicle.

As my vehicle is a working vehicle but also having extensive rebuild work done on it, once it is repaired I want to make sure it is insured for its new value should the worst happen.

Currently, If I was to take out an agreed valuation, the mileage limitations would mean I am only able to use it for 5 weeks out of 52- which negates the point of having it.

Please could you advise as to my best course of action

I have 7K mileage with agreed value. It is on specialist vehicle policy with Footman James.
I found similar policies from A plan and Adrian Flux but price difference was not enough for me to change.
NFU offered but were a lot more expensive for me. I think because they classed my CSW as a light commercial. Something I am getting some information from Land Rover to try and help with. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

We can offer agreed value on policies with a higher mileage than 3000 per year, but it depends on how high you are talking.
