Ladder Question re drilling holes
Hi All

Do most ladders require holes drilling in the skin of the landy, I would rather not, just acquiring a front runner roof rack and need a ladder Thumbs Up

You can also get ladders that attach to the rack. There might be one for your specific rack - if not maybe you could adapt/modify one to fit?

There are three types of ladders.

1). Rack to chassis ladders these will normally be rack specific.

2). Gutter to chassis ladders

3) short ladder, gutter to waist line of vehicle, requires body drilling.

Now depending on Defender build tolerances on types 1 & 2 you might need a lot of weight on the ladder to fit chassis bolts.

Another alternative is spare wheel steps.

If you require more info drop me an email/ phone call
