Excel is your friend for that Thumbs Up or not if SWMBO finds it on the computer Embarassed

I've spent about £4500 in almost 6 year so I'm not in trouble yet! But it does have a list of where I'd like it to be eventually but I find I wait until I'm doing something, going somewhere specific or I know I need or replace something where the mods would be handy and then I Spend a bit of money

Of if something comes up at a good price Mr. Green like full length Hannibal roof rack for £350 off eBay Russell

That's a great stat. Blackwolf! A whole second Defender's worth of diesel to fuel your Defender for 5 years. How many miles' worth is that?

That averages £450 / month, so must be fairly high mileage? I get it to around 2,000 miles per month / 24,000 per year? So 120k miles in the 5 year period?

Over the same period, it is 113,291 miles in total and an average of £13.75 per day in fuel !

The total volume of fuel used was 20,027.87 litres, or (if you're reading this after 23rd June) 4,366.08 gallons.

The average cost per litre was £1.31.5 or £6.03 per gallon. Average consumption was 25.99 mpg.

Depressingly of the £25,850.47 spent on fuel, in reality something like £15,000 will have been fuel-related tax.

If you add in the VED, IPT, and VAT on parts, consumables, labour, and VAT on IPT of course, the total tax revenue which HMG has derived from from me would be truly depressing. All the money that I earned to pay these taxes was taxed once at source already. I feel a tax burden bearing down on me. Big Cry

@ Love The Mud, ya better add a long range tank to that list of parts for HIPPO, if your only getting 180 miles to 50L

funny you should say that! Thumbs Up I've been equiring today on Little Hippo's behalf!

MDM's TD5 got through a quarter of a tank in the two days off road (if i remember correctly) and mine burnt through 19 litres each day despite following him... so i think I will have to take it to Alive to A) have a look B) get the remap

I've done 53k in two years wouldn't want to add that up. Even worse is the chap who has the ladybird cranes 90 he does twice the mileage I do.
